So far ESPN just seems to keep repeating the same episode covering day 1. Surely there must be more to come, but does anyone know for sure?

I'm sure there are at least a few more episodes, but I don't know when they will be showing them.

There will be a new one every tuesday at 9pm (not sure if its est or central time). I believe they will have 5 more....not sure...anyone else know for sure?

After watching varkonyi for so long....im glad he went out...that guy was a tool. I liked how brunson just acted like it was another day at the office...very calm and collective.

I don't know, I was pretty unimpressed with Brunson. He didn't seem to have his 'A' game with him.

I've checked the channel listings and searched Yahoo TV - nothing beyond what we already know.

However, I've also emailed ESPN and asked them (what a concept).

I'll post their reply if it is at all, relevent.

Thank you for your e-mail.

ESPN and The Binion Horseshoe Hotel & Casino of Las Vegas finalized a
three-year agreement to televise the World Series of Poker beginning in
2003. ESPN's coverage of the 2003 World Series of Poker, which took
place April 15-May 23, will focus on the final competition known as
Texas Hold'em.

The telecast, an ESPN Original Entertainment (EOE) production, includes
seven one-hour shows, each Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. The first telecast
was
July 8.

For reairs and other scheduling, check out the searchable TV listings
(including game shows which encompass the poker tournaments) on
ESPN.com: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/index

You can search, by sport, for a week's worth of programming at a time.
Just scroll towards the bottom of the page and you'll see 3 search
boxes: Network, Daily and Weekly. Click on Weekly and choose the sport
you want in the dropdown box. To get to the following, or previous
week's listings just click on the calendar in the right hand column
once
your there.

Thanks for writing.

Sincerely,
ESPN Viewer Response

Is it just me, or is EPSN doing a piss-poor job of promoting this thing? When the Travel Channel ran the WPT, there were tons of ads telling you when the next new episode would be on, what was going to happen in it, and so forth.

Well, I'll agree that the promotion sucks, however, I really like the job they're doing covering the event. If it continues at the level of the first two, it will be the best WSOP coverage yet. And pretty good too.
