all are 0.50/1.00 6 max, not all at the same table, in no particular order. You'll spot the theme soon enough...

hand 1:
somehow over 100+ hands i know nothing about villain except hes 28/12.

Hero (BB) - $98.65
Villain (SB) - $173.25

Dealt to Hero: A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif

4 folds, Villain raises to $2, hero calls.

Flop ($4) - A/images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/spade.gif 5/images/graemlins/club.gif

villain bets $3, hero calls.

Turn ($10) - 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

villain bets $5, hero calls.

River ($20) - 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif

villain bets $7, hero calls.

Hand 2:
villain is 34/3 and is loose with calling raises preflop. I took much longer than normal deciding preflop (he's not folding to a raise, and his raise numbers means he limps with AJ) but finally limped myself.

Villain (MP) - $108.10
Hero (Button) - $130.60
BB - $34.45

Dealt to hero: K/images/graemlins/heart.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif

UTG folds, villain calls, CO calls, hero calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop ($5) - 6/images/graemlins/club.gif 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

2 checks, villain bets $2, 1 fold, hero calls, 1 fold, BB calls.

Turn ($11) - 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif

BB checks, villain bets $5, hero calls, BB folds.

River ($21) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif

villain bets $6, hero calls.

Hand 3:
villain is the main reason im still playing. He's 60/40/8. Every raise he's made preflop has been a minraise. Postflop he's been very aggressive... has shown down some good hands, and been caught bluffing several times. Ran his stack up over $200, but has recently donked off most of it.

Villain (UTG) - $95.85
Hero (SB) - $120.15

Dealt to hero - A/images/graemlins/heart.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Villain raises to $2, 1 fold, button calls, hero calls, BB folds.

Flop ($7) - 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q/images/graemlins/club.gif 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif

hero checks, villain bets $6, button folds, hero calls.

Turn ($19) - 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

hero checks, villain bets $18, hero calls.

River ($55) - K/images/graemlins/spade.gif

hero checks, villain bets $29, hero calls.

Last hand:
villain is 33/13, no other info except he bought in for the minimum.

villain (button) - $36
hero (BB) - $109.20

dealt to hero - A/images/graemlins/spade.gif 10/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

4 folds, villain limps, sb completes, hero checks.

Flop ($3) - A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q/images/graemlins/club.gif 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif

SB checks, hero checks, button bets $2, sb folds, hero calls.
Turn ($7) - 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

hero checks, button bets $5, hero calls

River ($17) - 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif

hero bets $7

Are these bad calls, or are you annoyed with yourself for not taking a different line? They seem close to me. Hand 3 seems well played given the villan's AF.

i'm not sure what to think of them. All 4 are hands i'm not excited about playing big pots with. hoping to get some input on better lines.

Hand 1: What is villain's aggression factor? If its high, I likely raise turn if I am going to continue with hand.

Hand 2: Raise to pot on flop.

Hand 3: Reraising here to isolate preflop against this guy is generally good.

Hand 4: Do you plan on folding if he pushes? Because once that 9 paired he may do that with a weaker ace to steal the pot from what he thinks is a split.

Cya at the tables.

Why raise the turn on hand 1?

Villain's bet is weak, several draws are possible, I want to charge them, and I have fold equity and what is likely the best hand right now. There are many cards I will be playing guessing games with on the river if I just call. I am also likely get a free showdown if he calls my raise, and I get much more information this way than blindly calling him down.
