Relevant reads - villian has been tight so far, and I haven't seen him get out of line yet.

I probably would have folded preflop. I think I check/call the river.

What's your plan on the flop if he bets?? My point is that without a set on the flop, you have absolutely no clue where you stand. I fold despite getting 2-1 odds because you MUST commit more chips to define your hand. You have plenty of chips, so I'd just wait for a better hand/position.

I understand your point entirely. At the time, I felt that I could take the pot away with a bet on a flop that missed him - we was pretty tight/straightforward post flop. Unfortunately, flop was awfully coordinated. Looking back, probably a marginal call at best.
