I have played with villain before, he seems to be an aggressive, semi decent player, definately not an uberdonk. Nothing special. I dont have many hands logged on PT with him, when I played him I wasnt using my laptop and did not get a chance to log the hands.

Villlain open limps from CO, SB folds, I make it 2.5 to go from BB with .

flop is Q /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I check call his 3 dollar bet.

Turn is 10 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I check call his 4 dollar bet (coments on leading this turn. If he raises my turn lead do I fold?)

River is 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I lead for 8 into a pot of 18, villain makes it 25 without much hesitation. I think and think and...

You fold.

Why did you come alive when that 7d came on the river? He was probably gonna bet about $8 himself, and you could have seen a cheap showdown with a c/c.

I like C/C any reasonable bet.

I dunno, I bet the river cuz I see him checking alot of worse hands, like pocket pairs, behind, or 10A or something. Then I looked at my line and it looked really weak, and thought that he might be raising me with a worse hand here? You guys think c/c on all 3 streets is good here?

I think c/c in this situation is best. Avoids a big raise and allows cheaper showdown.

Would villain bluff flop and then bet turn with a decent ten? Could he have KK or JJ here? What range does he put you on here generally?

Honestly, I don't think your line is bad. Everyone seems to hate the river lead, but if he can have a lot of hands here that don't have a Q, and he'll call a bet with KK or JJ or AT or whatever, a river bet/fold to raise seems good. Its tough since I don't know if this guy is more likely to call a bet with JJ or bet it himself, but there are certainly a fair number of opponents that I would use this line against.

Villain would definately check behind a hand like A10 and 88, I dunno about JJ, I doubt he bets that too. Some villains would even check behind KK here.

What I am worried about is that villain picks up my line as a blocker and raises with any two to steal the pot, I have done nothing at any point to convince him my hand is good.

Is leading the turn a better option?

Well the reason I don't like is villian is likely value bet his Q as well as KK or JJ here. Based on his earlier bet, it should be close to hero bet. Obviously some villian check KK and JJ here and only bet Q. Hero play his hands like a slow played AQ, sometimes villian would fold his KK or JJ here, which is something we don't like either.
