I was trying to protect my hand from the potential (2-way) flush draw re-raise.

Was i to aggressive ?

I think you need to consider the player here. You will probably only get a ton of action from this if you are beat...from something like a set. You are protecting your hand from flush draws, but I cannot see how a hand you beat, other than AK maybe would call this bet.I think he has JJ or something here, or air.

But if i re-raise to 8 he will have to call 4 for the 14.85 already lying in the pot. That would make bad pot odds for him.

But he have the opportunity to bluff with any club/diamond.

Guees i wanted him to fold, that cannot be well played /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Raise to ~11 works too.
And I'm not too worried about draws when he minraised turn, so I might just call and get some value from worse hands on the river, although 3beting you get his stack when he has K2 K3 so it depends on my feel usually

I like calling and check/calling a moderate river bet.

Thanks a lot for the answers, helped a lot.

Seems like calling is a good idea, just seemed like a bad move at the time.

I tend to force draws out too much, instead of raising to an amount in which they don't have the pot odds to call, but do anyway - make them pay - not fold.

My biggest leak !
