20 bux worth of alcohol for Secret Santa

A few people and I are doing a secret santa thing for our dorm. We have to get around 20 bucks worth of alcohol for our person. I dont want to just get a pack of beer for this guy, but obviously can't (and don't want to) exceed the limit. So....help out

5ths of Jager usually run between $15.99 and $20 at Safeway...with the left over money you can get an energy drink to go with it

Vodka - handle of Fris is the best value in vodka by far
Gin - fifth of Bombay Sapphire
Whisky - fifth (maybe liter) of Bushmills
Bourbon - fifth of Knob Creek
Scotch - you can't do all that well on $20. JW Red is about it.
Brandy - Paul Masson VSOP is cheaper and better than many VS cognacs.
Misc. - eh, most misc. stuff is either too expensive, too cheap, or too weird.

Alternatively, you could get him something like a fifth of Seagram's gin and a bottle of dry vermouth as all he needs to make a Martini.
