View Full Version : $11 Should I play TT this way on a 3-flush turn?

Is this ridiculous? Because I do it a lot, and would like to fix it if it's dumb... but it seems to work a fair amount.

Also, if you think it's bad, would you opinion change if the Kh was a 9h instead?

I think you have to lead the turn here. Checking leaves you with no idea about your hand. Since you did check, maybe call down?? His bet is extremely weak. It screams "ooo he checked, he's weak, I can take this pot down with a small bet."

Basically, my thought process, which lead to the big raise.

As for leading the turn, that's a great point in the sense that I have no clue where I stand. How big of a bet do you think here?

You definately don't want to give another free heart. You need to fire on the turn... you're most likely still ahead. C/R'ing here will give a free card too often, that's awful.

Still has outs? What, one out.. the T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, yeah.

My bad, thought he had a set.. but still the same reasoning applies you don't want to give a free out and checking doesn't do much other than give him a free card when YOU are ahead.

I agree with leading the turn, but not because I have outs.. sorry just made me chuckle, wasn't having a go.
