Truth be told, Wasington is the only bet I really like right now. Others I like but am not taking because they are double digit favorites are: Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, and Cincinnati. I will probably put those into a couple teasers again. I wish the Giants were at -7.

Redskins- most of their games have been below 40.

Bears over- Okay, I really meant that THIS week the line was too low. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Pats- After last week's choke, with nothing to play for (anyone who thinks the Bills have a shot at the playoffs, hollah!), fading the Bills for half a touchdown on their home field seems like a good gamble. Their home record is a bit padded- only the Chiefs (not the greatest road team) and the Panthers seem like tough teams that they beat.

I'm definitely not as comfortable with any picks this week. A lot of tough games I think. Here is my stab at them...

-Broncos: Weather, two good defenses, one horrific offense makes this a low-scoring affair
-Chargers: If it's not broke, don't fix it. Chargers have made me $1200 3+1 bucks the past 3 weeks.
-Jaguars: The Jags need this game SO much worse than the Colts do. They have always played the Colts tough at home too.
-Chiefs: The Cowboys have only played one game that wasn't a blowout all year, and against a hot team that needs to win I think the Cowboys will struggle here.

We'll see, I don't feel as strongly about my picks, but the Chargers have been a gold mine and I'm going to keep riding that rush until the lose ATS.

Panthers...this is the second of back to back games against their two biggest rivals for the 2005 NFC South championship. Tampa is a pretender. Statement game about whose division this is this year.

Broncos...I hate big lines but I can't see the Ravens scoring more than 10. And can't see Denver scoring less than 24 against Baltimore's now porous D.

I'm due for a good week as so far I've been doing good week, bad week, good week, bad week (wash, rinse, repeat) - and last week was bad. Under seems like the theme of the week as I spot 16 good lines, 8 o/u and 8 regular in this weeks set of numbers. But of the 8 o/u all 8 smart plays are under.

I may not be on a 14 - 2 tear, but 11 - 4 - 1 over the past 4 weeks has me looking respectable.

My handicap process has been good for 5 years. This year my "system" has sucked. I don't know what it is. I spend lots of time on line match-ups and secondary coverage then I find an underdog who matches-up well. It has always worked well for me. So I'll look at this year as some sort of wierd aberration and just fade myself. If my picks start to fall off next year, I'll go quiet for the year and try and work out a new system. However, I'm sticking by my system here. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

This week I actually tried to change a bit. That didn't work out too well. /images/graemlins/frown.gif I am having lots of trouble picking games this year. But I have been kicking arse in fantasy so I'll take that for money instead. /images/graemlins/cool.gif
