Cheney made more terrorist strikes sound more like a threat than a promise. The logic here is that if questions about the administration's and the CIA's foreknowledge of suicide highjackers do not subside, then they will let another 9-11 take place. This administration in 18 months has committed more incidents that should be investigated than Clinton did in 8 years.
The adminsitration was simply told by the FBI, the Russians, and the CIA's surveillance of the stock options market that somethng was up with UAL. The FBI agent that wrote the Pheonix memo testified yesterday that he forewarned the CIA.
Absolutely nothing was done to stop 9-11. Oh I should correct myself, a statistically gargantuan numbers of puts were placed on UAL stock a week before the bombing through a bank formerly run by the executive director of the CIA.
This has become a scary country to live in when the public is deemed to dumb to handle the light of an investigation.
