Standard, or did I push it way too hard on a friendly flop?

keeping in mind i'm on the button, so i figure it might also look like a purchase attempt (in which case just potting it might've been more realistic).

Standard.

Your hand is strong enough to slowplay, but I don't think these guys would call a $4 or $6 bet without a set or big overs on this board. There's only one T left in the deck so getting paid by top pair is unlikely. I would have bet less on the flop but I don't think this board pays you much anyway.

What about checking and giving the table a free card or chance to bluff?

i'd bet something but it wouldn't be near pot sized like you did. I'd bet half pot or less....you want to give overs hope to catch but you want to build a pot. I do 5-7 here I think. Thats about as friendly a board as you could hope for rainboy and uncoordinated. Also villain could be trying to checkraise a big pocket pair so you have to give him a chance to....the small bet does that.

I think this is a fine opportunity for a slow play. The pre-flop raiser didn't bet this flop so I don't think anyone has much of anything. Give your opponents a chance to catch an overcard on the turn and get some extra action.

With the dry flop you can afford to allow a free card. Somebody with second pair might decide to bet or AK might catch top pair. With any draws on the flop, your play is standard.
