I hear the term a lot in no-limit poker.Avoid playing in big pots and playing small bet poker.Lets say the blinds are $50/$100 and you have a fair hand you think may be the best hand but you dont want to invest a lot of money in the hand.If you want to keep the pot small how much would you bet or would bet at all? I would appreciate it if someone would explain to me how to play small bet poker.

To me "small bet poker" means two things...position and relative stack size. The idea is to pick up a lot of blinds and weak calls without risking a big % of your stack. Don't bluff big amounts, don't slow play the big hands, because then you win a little often, but lose a few monster bets.
