c,

The first should be a call.

The second is much closer and I think I'd call with A7s....but since your hand is A7o I like folding better.

Hand 1 is a clear call against anyone, I think. Hand 2 seems a bit more read-dependent but against most I would also be inclined to call.

edit: I really think hand 1 isn't close at all, especially considering the pay structure in these. I mean...you should call with hands like A2o, I think.

I fold hand 1. He, obviously, has AKs. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

He may have that. Someone may also have their mailbox full

The dude in the 2nd hand only pushes Aces there, so it's a clear fold...

Okay, he pushes KTo or some other hand once in a while so that he'll get action a % of the time he pushes those Aces...

I'd say you have a solid read on him.

I called both hands. I knew it was a coinflip in the first one but if I win I am set to make a run at first.
The second hand if I fold I have 570 after posting the SB next hand and no FE so A7 may be as good as it gets. If I had the read that Gramps had than yes it is an easy fold. I thought his range could be fairly wide.

I think you missed the joke cleinen.. about Gramps and the 2nd hand.. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

haha, I was hoping that was a joke. Anyway, first one is an easy call, the second one is closer but I think it's still a call.

I kinda figured that. I will admit I wasn't sure.
