They stole the election in more ways than this. These were just so blalant that they couldn't be ignored.

The article states that the Ashcroft justice department will prosecute 3 counties in Florida where blacks were intentionally disenfranchised. It says that they will not address state officials, however. Katherine harris and Jeb Bush are safe from criminal prsecution for their intentional disenfranchising over 200,00 blacks. The NAACP may still sue the state government civilly.
