View Full Version : How to unwrinkle sweaters?

so, it's apparently now winter time here in Boston. I pulled out all the wool sweaters out of my closet this weekend, but all of them were hopeleslly wrinkled. (that's what happens when they are balled up together for 9 months).

anybody know how I can remedy this situation? I suppose I could get them all drycleaned, but is that the only solution?

delicate mode in the dryer for a little bit might do it

Yeah, hang them up in the bathroom and run the hot water in the shower for a while; that's worked for me in the past.

Hanging sweaters is a no-no, generally speaking. It stretches out the shoulders. But, as long as you're only doing it once, you should be alright.

Personally, I'd punt and take em to the dry cleaner, but I'm more image conscious than most gay men I know.
