Q1: Is there a better bluetooth desktop available than Logitech MX5000 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AY5ZIS/sr=1-2/qid=1133786697/ref=sr_1_2/103-8830660-3671813?%5Fencoding=UTF8)?

Some of the reviewers seem to think so but they don't mention any specific alternatives.

Q2: If I decide someday to get a wireless gamepad for my PC will there be interference between the keyboard/mouse and gamepad that would prevent me from using both at the same time? Is there any way to get around this?

Thanks.

I personally use the Logitech diNovo bluetooth keyboard/mouse. They're a bit expensive. They had some quality issues when they first started producing them. I had two break. Although I haven't had any issues with the warranty replacements I've recieved. The return process is pretty simple as well.

A gamepad shouldn't interfere. Most gamepad's don't use bluetooth. And even if it did, bluetooth is capable of using different channels so you should be okay.
