I think I played this one like a wuss?

UTG is thight 18/10/1.3 else are very loose-passive

Preflop: Hero is Button with T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG raises, 1 fold, CO calls, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, BB calls, UTG caps, CO calls, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (20 SB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, CO calls, Hero calls, SB folds, BB calls.

Of course I call and try to catch a set. I have the odds. But should I raise instead?

Turn: (12 BB) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
BB checks, UTG bets, CO calls, Hero folds, BB calls.

After I folded, I felt bad....

Barring any complete ridiculousness, folding the turn is good. The pot was capped 4way preflop. Assuming your other two opponents are complete donks, you are still often behind UTG. 18/10 is pretty tight, and I doubt he fired the turn there with a missed AK, probably with AKd though.
That's not even considering that one of the other two could easily have a jack or seven.

Yes I think that there is a great chance someone has me beat. The pot was just so big that it made me think.

I think the fold here is okay. BB is calling along with either a flush draw or a crappy jack, UTG could have an overpair (maybe AK /images/graemlins/diamond.gif). God knows what CO has...

The river was funny. Everyone checked to CO who bets. Everyone folded.

I have no idea what he had!

I think you need to raise this flop. you want any A/K/Q to fold. also, given UTG's pfr you are easily ahead enough of the time here to continue.

I don't see what that achieves, all it does is bloat the pot. Raising the turn seems the only other viable line.

You've gotta raise the flop to try to knock out some overcards.

I might incoroporate a river check into that, or maybe a turn check if it miraciously got hu.

[/ QUOTE ] Pot's too big, I don't think a flop raise can get overs to fold from these players.

I tend to raise this flop to see if UTGs bet is just a continuation bet or not -- and to see how much everyone else likes their hand. This makes it much easier for me to laydown my hand or to continue.
