sufjan stevens is possibly the best artist today. but for some reason the idea of a christmas album from him makes me want to puke. I like his songs because they're bright, or at least qwerky, and definately original. but the idea of his quaking vibrato set to christmas standards makes me unhappy. I'd rather the christmas songs be left to expert choirs and mariah carey releases.

ok rant over. I'm sure it'll be great.

Don't worry, they are Christmas songs but they are definitely Sufjan style. He does not sing Jingle Bells /images/graemlins/grin.gif
