Online 2-4 game. 10BB pots, lots of players seeing the flop flop.

I'm UTG+1 with 9Jc. If UTG limps, I decided I'd play. UTG limps, so I limp preflop. Only one person folds in this table of 10! BB raises, I call one more bet (easy call), then LP limp-reraises, and EP caps. Damn, still a call even though it's two cold. There's 36 or so SB in the pot!

Anyways, is J9s a +EV hand on that kind of table?

If this sort of preflop aggression was typical, then J9s was a horrible play. If this was atypical, and most hands went unraised, then it sounds like it was an ok spot to play J9s.

J9s is playable UTG is loose-passive games. That exact example is given in HEPFAP.
