I've recently been in contact with PokerStars management, and they have put 'The Zoo Tourney'* up in the PokerStars lobby. The details are as follows:
The Zoo Tourney
Wednesday, the 16th of July at 9 pm EST
The game is Seven Card Stud
The buy in is $20 + $2
Send me (duxDeluxe) a PM to obtain the password for this tournament. Please include your PokerStars username in the message. Please specify if you DO NOT want your Stars handle to be exposed to members at 2+2 (although it would kind of defy the point of the tournament). Whether or not you are granted entry is solely at my discretion.
The idea behind the event is to play something that for most of you will be a little different, at a price which is both affordable for those who have little to no experience at stud, and those with small bankrolls (myself included). For those who have big bankrolls, hopefully you will be able to just enjoy the game for what it is (a tournament full of rocks).
