New to Cali

I'm spending the summer in California. I'll be living in Carlsbad, about 20 minutes north of downtown San Diego (I think). Where are the best places to go for games in the 8-16 to 15-30 range?

Oceans 11 casino, in Oceanside.


They have 3-6, 4-8, and 8-16 holdem. I think all games have killpots. Action is good, pretty easy to get food comps. Food is decent. Decent tournaments, and big crowds when there is a tourny.


They frequently have a 20-40 game, but it's not going 24/7.


This is the only casino in that area I've played at. Maybe others (Dave in Cali?) can give you other/better answers.
