I'm sorry if this is a useless poll, but I actually need to know what the consensus is.

I've been having an argument with my girlfriend for the last couple of months, and I thought that I'd turn to OOT for an answer. Is "Linus and Lucy," effectively the Charlie Brown theme song, a Christmas song? I always thought it was since I immediately associate it with "A Charlie Brown Christmas." If you're not sure of the song I'm talking about, you can find a short sample here. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000000NLH/103-0387028-0635043?v=glance&n=5174) So I ask you...

Who is Borf? (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/07/13/AR2005071302448.html)

Borf is the pseudonym of a graffiti artist who is primarily based out of DC, but as I'm sure you've noticed, has left his mark elsewhere. Borf was the nickname of a childhood friend of his who committed suicide a few years ago, and now he tags the name Borf with weird slogans all over the place as a tribute to him.

yeah i just googled it. why is he getting credit outside of the usual graffit/ young hipster circles? is his stuff that widespread or good that it is the the washington post?

reading and looking at the pics i found on google, it doesnt seem that spectacular, a couple of good pics though. and from the interview bits he doesnt seem that intelligent or insightful at all. similiar to neckface... he'll be gone soon.

now REVS, now he is a [censored] genius

it was recorded specifically for a christmas movie (i believe), so yes, the same way that any other song recorded for a christmas movie is. but it isn't as much of one as "Christmas time is here", also from the charlie brown xmas special.
