I know you guys can be harsh, but I am thinking more when I play because of it:

No reads: I've folded, folded, folded and only played 1 hand prior. I figured no 3s for the Villian with the less than pot size bet (coulda been a trap though), figured maybe a FD but no ace cause he probably would have raised in position.

You're pushing your opening requirements a bit...choosing to in decent position, I'd prefer put out a small raise PF with a little stronger hand.

You have to lead this flop, protecting your FD. Leading from the front, checking from behind is a better line with this friendly flop.

I'm with you. Very hard to put him on a hand that beats you. Unfortunately, just as hard putting him on a hand that completely disregards your turn lead, despite your committedness (not sure if that's a word). Over 1k in the pot, you certainly can't let go of TP, 2NFD here...keeping in mind a couple missteps to this point.
