I Wasn't sure which section to put this in so I just decided to put it here. I have been playing internet poker, and beleive that i might be able to quit my regular job to just play online. I am not considering of doing this for my whole lifetime, but just while I am in college and everything. My question is, If i were to quit a regular job, and just play poker making 1-2k a month, would I have to fill this out for income tax at the end of year?

Ok so what if I continued to work a normal job and also played poker. Would i have to file it then?

Varies a bit depending what country you're in. Try to remember: THERE IS MORE OUT THERE THAN THE US...

If you live in the US, then yes. If you continued to work and played poker on the side, then you would start making estimated quarterly tax payments.
