Over the first 4 days of Nov, I lost about $1000 at the $55s. Dropped back down to $33s and $22s and worked it back to +$500 for the month. Sucky month for me.

My Nov. Goal:

[ QUOTE ]

Here's my one and only goal for the month:
Enjoy my wedding with my family, friends and bride to be.
Poker comes 8th or 23rd or something this month.

[/ QUOTE ]

Done. 3k or so from poker was also nice.

My goal for this month is to get out of the kiddie pool and play more 109s and some 215s. Also I would like to maintain my 98% ROI that I started with in my first 11 55s. Reasonable, I think.

Up $1400 mostly from tourney play + bonii. My home, PS 15+1, got me an ROI of 25% over a laughable sample size of 170 tourneys or so. Was bored one time and played 4 Party 22s and won 3 of them.

Felt that I played better than before. Felt that there is ample way for improvement. Felt that I did not advance in ring games the last 5 months.

Thought too much about poker, put too much time in.

Now fully depleted my PS bonus cushion of $630. It's put up or shut up time now.

December goal: Play goot at the PS 25+2, play the last 80 tourneys on PS 15+1 to get to sample size of 500 (silly, innit?). Make $1000 (including ring bonii).

So, pretty [censored] month.

Started out the month on a terrible downswing, spent the second half of the month digging out. Went positive for the month at 11:55pm on the 30th. Up $60 for the month. So [censored] results but less [censored] than it looked like it might be on the 15th.

67 20+2s at 16.7% ROI
153 30+3s at 30.1% ROI

got bored of SNGs this month, played MTTs instead.

3 MTT final tables but down $800 for the month in MTTs overall. Ran so horrible half way through november when I was writing essays for uni and playing at the same time. Never again.

... this was my first losing month ever

[/ QUOTE ]

Almost posted my first losing month as well. I had to shut it down on the 29th & 30th just to stay positive. I know I should have looked at the big picture and played through it but I needed to take a break from the beatings. +$65 for the entire month thus I think I made about .27 cents an hour. I'm pretty sure I didn't meet any of my goals this month, although I did clear two nice bonuses.

I don't track my stats but I made about $5k at the $27 turbo's, in about 70 total hours.

I'm hangin about 7 inches, I guess...

583 tournaments, almost all at Party 33s, mostly 8-tabling
16% ROI
38% ITM
$2902 profit
$227 Party bonii
No other rakeback
About $40 per set of 8, didn't worry about hourly rate.

Up $3129 for the month. I'll take it for my first full month multi-tabling.

Placed something like 13.5% first, 11.5% second, 13% third, forgot to write it down.

Made more playing poker part-time than I did in my crappy full-time day job. Bought a 2001FP, new tires for my car, and some good wine with part of my earnings.

Variance is a bitch. I had two separate break-even streaks of > 200 SNGs. I made all my money in two separate streaks of 75 SNGs, during which I had 59% ROI.

Goals for December:
Move up to the 55s once I have $2500 in bankroll.
Make at least $4000 playing part-time.
Prepare to quit my day job sometime in January

Played 8 200+15s(pwning raptor in the process @ 74.42 ROI = 1,280
Won a $10+0 tourney in my dorm for around $120
Made $600 in rakeback and $200 from my party VIP bonus.
Total = $7,400 or so

This is my best month since school started.

Won the Super Weekday ($31K), and Final tabled in Guarenteed 40K ($8K), both in the same week. Moved up to $55's and won $3,200 right out of the gate.

Have lost $3,800 multi-tabling the $50s in the last 3 days, and now can's finish top 3 in a $10 sng.

Ok I'm only listing these stats to motivate myself.

Buy in $10+1
Tournies : 638
ITM: 39%
ROI 8%

Profit $674

I hate my roi especially because I started with a sick heater. Varience is a bitch.

I'm 9 tabling the $10s right now and I'm going to have lots of down time in Dec. So I am hoping for a nice profit in Dec.

376 SNGs, -3.73% ROI, -$311 for the month. My E-Phallus is small and non-threatening.

Play casually when the wife allows... (e-penis deflating...)

November:
About 160 $11's
~28% ROI (about $500 profit... most of which went to MTT entries)
3rd in $20 MTT (~$2500)
Lower payouts in a few other MTT's.
Up about $3000 for the month.

I find that my downswings (both SNG and MTT) are highly correlated with my wife's nagginess (must put me on tilt).

My stats are much improved when I am home alone or have previously been granted permission /images/graemlins/smile.gif Trying to sneak in a SNG prior to dinner was the worst thing possible for my ROI this month. Too bad there isn't a PT stat for that.

Not a great month, but I did turn a profit and broke my 109 cherry.

524 $55's = +$1520
3 $109's = -$327
RB = +650

Hopefully I can do 800 $55's next month at >10% ROI.

I'm taking on the stars $60 Turbos since their last reload bonus.

Last month I played 54 SNGs (part time player) for a profit of ~$500. (not including $120 bonus) That's 14% ROI. Yuck.

played 166 22s, made $442 bucks. for those paying attention, that amounts to the staggering ROI of 12%. and i dont even think i ran particularly bad.

im slowly coming around to the realization that im not very good at poker. of course, the good news is that i'm slightly better than than average 22er. which is good.

I'm not even sure there is a correlation on my part. Was just thinking that perhaps I get too much into MTT mode, because they are such an immersion when you go deep, and therefore I carry over that way of playing to my next few sets of SNGs. I wouldnt even venture to imply that there is some universal cause for this. Just anecdotal.

I 4-tabled the $33, played 525 games for a cashout of $2,265. I didn't start using ICM, and won't for the time being since i don't want to rock the boat.
