It's 11:23 here at work and I've already gotten two comments that I look like "Eminem" and "a gangsta."

I'm wearing a black REI brand fleece cap, and a black REI brand synthetic pullover.

Since I wore the hat in the morning, I figure I have to wear it the rest of the day due to hat hair.

WTF? I didn't know REI was so gangsta.

Call me a cynic, but if I worked inside and walked around in a fleece cap all day, "gangsta" would probably be the best thing people would say about me. Please tell us you work outside.

Well I do work inside, but I don't "walk around all day." This is just people walking past my cube and commenting.

It's either the hat or really bad hair that looks like it hasn't been washed or combed. Which is more unprofessional?

One time at a friend's house he made repeated white rapper-like comments. I was mystified. I live in MN for christ's sake. But I don't really trust this guy's opinion on what is or is not fashinable. So if I'm doing something wrong here, someone please let me know.
