I probably would've checkraised the river

EDIT-- because of stack sizes, push the river

I would lead the turn. Button's weak flop bet got called in two spots and there's a good chance he checks behind here.

Also there is a decent chance of him having a big two pair or even a set, in which case he will certainly raise you and you can build a huge pot with the nuts.

The way you played it I like betting more on the river, these guys are gonna need a strong hand to look you up for $100 and if they have that strong a hand they will pay $200 or more.

push the river

flop call is kind of gross, but closing the action with decent stacks, i think it's okay. you HAVE to get your stack in though. i'd have probably bet out on the turn.

After folding preflop (twice), and c/f'ing the flop.....

As played, a c/r on the flop looks OK. But, I can see why you played it the way you did. River looks OK as well, you got two calls out of the deal with the nuts. You might have lost a little value by not leading the turn, but then again, maybe not. You might have lost a little value by not betting more on the river, but then again, maybe not. You made a mistake in the hand getting to the turn, so be happy with what you got?!? /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

yeah, in this situation it was my last hand of the short session so I wanted to try to hit something on the last hand. I normally would lay this down on the flop after that raise, and was only gonna see the turn if the guy infront of me called also. So thats my spill on defending the bad preflop play leading to a semi-bad flop call.
