so everyone knows that pocket aces are called Rockets, American Airlines, bullets, etc...
and kings are Cowboys, etc...
two queens are Sigfried and Roy, J-5 is Motown, Q-3 is the gay waiter (queen with a trei/tray) etc....
but i'll be damned if i'm not on a mission to get the following two hand nicknames into the common poker lexicon, and hear Vince van Patten and Mike Sexton use them next season on the World Poker Tour:
J-J: "Friday in Vegas" - you know, go to vegas with the boys, get drunk, find a couple of hooks.... 'nuff said.... /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
10-10: "The Hilton Sisters" - Nicky and Paris Hilton - if you've ever seen them (look them up if you don't know what i'm talking about) - you know, they're a couple of tens.... /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif
