I don't have the link. Read in the paper yesterday(Deseret News) that two Canadian art students, 23 & 22(article gave their names), made a 17 minute video of mutilating a live cat. Claimed they did it as both an animal rights protest("this is what happens in the labs") & "performance art project".
Apparently they'd made an earlier one on a hamster or something. Art Prof(his name also given) testifeid on their behalf, as did a couple classmates.
Now, I'm unfortunately pretty bitter, numb & hardened at this point, and I'm not a huge animal(esp. cat) guy, but this shook me a bit. If this is true, I wonder what FOX News & PETA have to say. FWIW we've had yea cat mutilations here in SLC lately, along w/the ones up in Denver.
BTW I wonder if Eric Rudolph or the guy who whacked Dr. Slepian thought about doing a D & C on a live baby, then going to the protest/performance art cards.
