So I was playing some Jimi Hendrix today for my 6 year old niece, and she comments: "This guy is pretty good at playing guitar."

The conversation ended with her wanting to go to a concert of his, and me explaining that being the best didn't stop him from dying.

Anyhow, give me some understatements so I can get more laughs today.

Duke,

I know you asked for over-statements, but I also had a funny encounter today with a 6 year old, so I'm telling that instead. A co-worker's daughter was at work with her mother. She showed me her wish list she had made for Santa. She wanted a doll, but wrote her first sentence as, "Dear Santa, I want a baby for Christmas." I was amused.

Sorry for side-tracking,
James

while doing a paper on Arlington National Cemetery I was at the grave of Robert Kennedy, which has a pretty powerful memorial nearby with quotes from some of his great speeches. There was a group of school kids who waled by and one the boys stopped and read one of the quotes.
"Cool" he said and walked away.
