The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he disattached his thumb from his hand; it was actually an optical illusion.

ZeeJustin,

Is this related to Dcifr's "opposite day" thread?

Inquiringly,

I guess I find it funny because Usual Suspects is one of my favorite movies. If you didn't like that movie so much (or have never seen it), this probably isn't funny at all.

If you're trying to take the attention away from me for posting something extremely unfunny, I appreciate the effort, but it's prolly better just to let the thread die if it's that unfunny.

this joke/idea is worse than the guy from office space's "jump to conclusions" idea.

ZJ,

Please explain the funny aspect of this. Perhaps it will make more sense then. The Usual Suspects is one of my favorite movies and I have seen it many times.

Thanks,
El Diablo

Well that's embarrassing. I tried to delete the thread, but it only deleted my OP (which I have since rewritten to somewhat reduce the awkwardness).

It amused me. Keep it up there.

Does it really require explanation? It's just a famous line from an epic movie turned slapstick. You expect to read something profound, and instead read something that's apparently unfunny.

I prefer Fenster's

"Gimmedafukinkeys yafukincoksukutdafuk"

Dropout,

I don't think you know what the following words mean: epic, slapstick, profound, apparently.

Learning is fun,

astro: thx for the bump, i missed this thread the first time around.

zj: deleting it and then putting it back in there was a good way to try to get people to not open the thread. but now that it has lots of replies you are screwed. sorry.

sincerely,

I beg your pardon. Marble mouthed Fenster spillin this one out is hilarious. This is the best line in the movie. His "Flippyondabackside......flippyfareal" is pretty funny too.

However, FWIW most of your statement is true, although I do kinda know what apparently means.

i found the post much more amusing with "disattached" in it. I'm going to start using words in that way...Like disfenestrate, disbunk, dislicious...
