theres no way they are actually showing this live, there is a chance that officers could get shot, can they actually show that? there must be a 2 minute delay or something.

this stuff is live. Ive seen people commit suicide on KTLA police chases. They never replay it, but if you were there for the live feed, you saw it. Also lots of times if it looks like something bad is about to happen, they switch to a long shot so its not as gruesome.

Remember when those gunman with full autos were in a shootout with cops, that was all live, cuz you got to watch the cops lay there bleeding and the gunmen get killed.

Do people ever escape from the police in car chases? I can't imagine actually being able to get away unless it was in a city and it was only 1-2 cop cars. And I think that would require some serious skill like in the movies.
