I have been playing .25/.50 at pokerstars and want to try moving up. Since pokerstars often doesn't have a good .50/1.00 full ring game I am thinking about going back to party to play this limit.

How would you compare the .25/.50 pokerstars games to the .50/1.00 party games?

Thanks

The .50/1.00 at Party commonly displays 5-6 people going to the river and average pot sizes that are larger than the average pot size of Stars' 1-2.

one is as tight as a duck's arse in water

the other is as loose as granny's lips after a night of entertaining mason

I made $80 in a half hour once playing $.5/1 Omaha8 at Party. The average pot size in that game had risen to $20 (yes, 20 big bets!). Be aware, however, that the variance in such a game can make you pull your hair right out.

I saw you playing the $25 NL on party a few weeks ago before I went on vacation. Stay at the $25 NL tables there. It's a good place to learn and a good place to build up your bank roll for other limits. If you're just starting out then just play tight and wait for the newbs to donate you money.
