In position, I would check behind on the turn, increasing the chance that he will bluff the river at me (which I would call). A decent diamond is calling the turn push anyway, and he may bet the river with the Jack he bet the flop with.

With the logic that you're using, and that's assuming that this guy made a standard big bet to push people off draws because he's got a high pair, you're better checking to him to extract more chips from this guy buy the river. At this point it's all about making more chips, rather than bluffing this guy out since you're sure he won't beat you.

I definitly agree with the turn check, but if he then checks the river do you bet, trying to move him off a small diamond so you can win or just check it through, not wanting to risk anymore?

And I like a flop push.

I agree with the others. I don't really like the turn push. It is obvious he doesn't have a diamond and you might have gotten him to bluff at the pot on the river.

Yes, I think I'd shove the flop too, hadn't noticed the pot by that point. Don't get greedy; it's half your stack - pick it up.

Preflop: Fine.

Flop: I would have pushed this. You are putting in around 1/2 your stack, which you are commiting yourself to. You also dont want to see another diamond come up.

Turn: Since you didnt push the flop, check the turn. Let him bluff the river. You might even draw to a boat and catch him slowplaying a big diamond.
