My mom's birthday is this week, and my sister told me she wants a nice pair of gloves for the winter. I have no experience buying nice gloves because I lose them all the time so just buy thr $4 fake leather ones off the street. Any recommendations to brands/stores? Thanks

Lord and Taylor had some cashmere-lined leather gloves last time I was there. I'd check Macy's too.

The major department stores usually have 20% off coupons in the newspapers. Grab a bunch of coupons and head to the stores. Ask a hot chick behind the counter for help, you'll be done before you know it.

Why are you buying your sister gloves for your mother's birthday /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Advice: Go to a department store, find the hot chick that works in the woman's accessories section and ask her to help you pick out something nice for $20-$50. Then get her phone number, get her drunk and you know what's next...........

I bought red leather gloves at Talbots for my sister-in-law last year for Christmas. She bought my mom the same thing. Big hit.

Overstock.com has a nice selection of leather gloves in the $20-25 range.
