25 NL on Party 5 handed (6 max)
Im in small blind with K /images/graemlins/spade.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Table folds around to me and I complete SB and BB checks.
Flop 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Hero bets .50
Villan calls
Turn Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif
Hero bets $1
Villan raises to $2
Hero calls
River A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Hero bets $1
Villan raises to $5
Hero ???
Looks like A, Q to me. Call. I read in Doyle Brunson's book? you lose 1 of 12 hands to the A with a K high flush. Call your 11:1 favorite.
Call. This plays exactly like AQ and if you raise, you might not get called (depending on depth of stacks) unless you're beat.
there's a good enough chance that your flush beats his and he will call that I would push. I think calling is a bad play since worse hands will instantly call a push here.
Looking at it again, I think I would push here, depending on stack size (I see it wasn't posted)

bet pot on the turn and river, or 3 bet his river bet. is this villain really only doing this with the nuts?

out of curiousity, if you pot bet on flop and miss on the turn, do you fire 3/4 or 1 pot bet again?

i didnt advocate betting the flop, but if i did i would try and price myself in on the turn...

sorry, misread... what does "pricing" mean?
I called this and Villan showed 10 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.
