article (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/29/international/europe/29repellent.html?8hpib)

"The device, called the Mosquito ("It's small and annoying," Mr. Stapleton said), emits a high-frequency pulsing sound that, he says, can be heard by most people younger than 20 and almost no one older than 30. The sound is designed to so irritate young people that after several minutes, they cannot stand it and go away."

Mr. Gough (pronounced GUFF) planned to install a sound system that would blast classical music into the parking lot, another method known to horrify hang-out youths into dispersing, but never got around to it.

[/ QUOTE ] I think "ride of the valkyries" is the correct song to play here.

this is [censored] hilarious. it could change the face of secondary education everywhere.

I don't read the new york times. I've never been to this site, and I did not have to register for anything.

I did click "ignore ad" once though.

Ed,

Yes. Many people find the NY Times one of the least reliable news sources.

Ed,

My post wasn't to bring attention to that, it was just to show that I didn't have to register to view the site.

I am only 22, and I love this thing already. Perhaps I can get a portable one to carry on me that attracts the females and repels the males.
