My round poker table is 66" in diameter.
I'd like to put 10 marks around the perimeter equal distance apart.

How far apart should they be?

That would be the distance if you put a tape measure around the arc of the circle. The straight line distance would be slightly shorter: 2*33*sin(18 degrees) =~ 20 13/32 inches.
