You really have to raise the flop or turn. I think you can fold to a 3-bet on the turn from either player so get your bets in then. I think the river fold is okay but the previous street should have been played differently.

yes i was planning on raising any turn but then i saw all that flop action and decided against it. i think i should ahve raised it anyways and just folded to a 3bet.

baron, youre making me sick.
quit being so fancy and RAISERAISEITTagjergj.
this is an obvious flop raise, and turn "just call" is turbo awful... i understand you are concerned one or both has trhe flush, but this is a big pot... u need to raise or fold.

I think this officially takes away your LAG status.

That is what you were trying to do... right?

i agree 100% that you need to raise flop....question for the field??? lets walk through this becuase it happens all the time to me. I raise, someone then 3bets......I will cap. the club falls......check / fold if two players are in? i seem to spew chips here....ill get check / raised or call down two more bets. trying to tighten up post flop. thoughts?

What happened in between the two downswings to make them separate? If I have two 180BB downswings in 4 days, that's a 360BB downswing.

Raise the flop, by the way. I save the call-flop-raise-turn line for heads up pots.

Guy.

the two 180+ downswings came quickly...one in 2300 hands, one was 220BB in 3000 hands. I played each of these out in one day.

What separated them was a 400BB upswing /images/graemlins/smile.gif but still, i cant help but feel like [censored] when i drop so much so fast repeatedly/.

All this says to me is that you're playing a high-variance style. If that is so, then just stop thinking about 200BB as a swing. Fret when they get to 400.

Guy.
