Thoughts on the size of the river bet? I didn't think he was terribly strong, but should I have just pushed? Worried about straight on river?

Thanks as always in advance. You guys have really helped me a ton.

I'm with you that I'm probably good, but an area of my game that I've been focusing on recently is my river play, specifically trying to find that perfectly sized value bet to maximize what villain will call with.

Basically, the core question here is this... At the river villain had ~800 left. Should I have just pushed?

That turn bet seems a bit big to me. I might make it more like 1/2 the pot. Then you are more likely to garner a call on the river for about t300 I reckon. Gets you maybe t100 more chips. Probably all you're getting though.
