i lose no sleep calling

MP3 - AQ
SB - heart-heart (though pushing over the raise might make 2-pair/set a more likely c-push)

...often enough to make the call anyway

Will the benefits of the big stack that I get from winning outweigh the times that I do lose in this situation?

Yes they will. I'd call here too, and MP3 might fold.

Been stewing on this one. I just wanted to add that folding isn't horrible.

MP3 still to act is a consideration. But not enough to sway my decision. Had SB folded, you certainly would have been coming over the top of his - again, likely AQ (maybe a nut FD of his own).

SB is a little more troubling. He's certainly not moving in with air. You do see the FD check/push, but more so on a less-interested, lead+call. Your sizable lead followed by the minraise would be enough to slow down the SB's FD push. More likely the 2-pair/set IMO.

Sucks. At this (and other) levels, I still think you have to call this /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Edit: Ps. Just splitting hairs a bit, but I'd raise a little more PF at this early level. A full 4-5x. An 'x' is an 'x', but at these levels, you'll find yourself 3,4,5+ handed too often. A single caller, calling a sizable PF raise is plenty efficient.

I'm always calling on the flop and yeah, like bluefeet said don't be bashful firing away with 75 preflop, not to chase out "junk hands" or whatever but because you'll still get calls and a t175 pot is a lot juicier than a t100 pot or whatever.

I think so.

I'd call and hope MP3 come along for the ride. I think you lose this one fairly often but not often enough to fold. I can easily see MP3 with a flushdraw and SB with a Q. If the flushdraw wasn't there I would have to think longer about it.

Here are the results if you're still interested:

beeny314 is all-In [655]
TheBigLJC is all-In [555]
** Dealing Turn ** [ 8s ]
** Dealing River ** [ 5h ]
TheBigLJC shows [ 4s, 4c ] three of a kind, fours.
PazzMan shows [ Ac, Qd ] a pair of queens.
beeny314 shows [ Kd, Kc ] a pair of kings.

Personally I thought it was a paired queen and a heart draw. I didn't see a two pair coming in here and I didn't even consider a set at all.

I think it is fairly common to be up against two pair (not horrible since you outdraw them some of the time) and set (bad). But I still think the times you triple up here outweighs it. And the middle guy sometimes goes away after seeing two people all-in and then you often are good.
