This weekend at a home game I was given printed out information from a internet site saying the rules for hold em regarding heads up play is that the button player posts the small blind and the player left of the button posts the big blind. I checked on party when I got back, and it posts with the small blind being left of the button, therefore making the button the big blind and allowing him to act last. I then played a heads up game at Pacific to check there and it did it the first way I described, can anyone help explain the right way here. One of the problems is that during the home game, I thought I was correcting my family by switching them to "Party's" way, then my sister in law found the "rules" on the internet and printed them out to show that they had been right. I would just like to know the correct way, or just get some help understand this. Thanks.

Technically party is "wrong"

This, and for many other reasons, is why I do not play tournaments on Party.
