No real reads on villain at the time other than he sees too many flops, hardly raises (edit preflop)...haven't seen him do anything particularly donkish.

<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $6</font>, Hero ???

What is your action here on the turn...not sure what else he's raising with other than a 9 or maybe a FH and my kicker isn't too good....what is your default play here? What is your river action?

edited - should read he hardly ever raises preflop...haven't noticed anything particularly over aggro or under aggro post flop.

Fold, he seems to also have a 9 and his is probably better.

If he is a donk I raise, but you say he never is aggro so that is a bad sign. If youre that scared call here and c/c riv unless spike a 9/8/6/3

Call, and c/c river if it's ~1/2 pot but fold to the push. Lead the river if you improve.

fold, small pot and he doesn't raise much. pot is only growing from here, so folding would be a small mistake

wow so far i'm surprised at the responses...i've gotten a couple of people saying to fold and a couple of calls and a maybe reraise....to be honest I didn't think folding was something that should be considered......my dilemna was more along the lines of should I call or raise, if I call should I lead the river for a blocker or check call....

i think we've got the best hand here - call the turn and lead the river for 2/3 pot.

people might not agree with this, but this is what the forum is for. so please tell me why i'm wrong! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

You are facing a min raise on turn with two flush draws on board instead of one.... I would reraise but the problem is that they are pot committed with any raise. I also thnink they are most likely to move the rest of their cash in on the river no matter what falls... can you call the all in if flush falls on river?

If not then your best line might be to push and put them to the test... Take advantage of the image that they more likely to be weak tight... therefore they could fold a better 9 and lay down a flush draw.

Kind of what I think now....I honestly never considered folding here which was suggested....I posted this hand because i'm trying to get better at maximizing value. I think I can either call here and lead the river, and call a raise, or reraise here....both ways maximize value if i'm ahead but of course lose more if I'm behind.

I called, and checked the river, and villain checked behind. Villain had AA and MHIG. I think I should have at least bet the river here and I was kicking myself afterwards....i'm trying to get better at maximizing value and I think I missed out here.....oh well.

No, because if you do this there is no getting away. Unless you had already decided that you were going to c/c an all-in. But you need to know villain is bad before you can do that.
