** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HERO [ Ah, 9d ]

jfish has been raising every hand and is running over this table, don't remember much about the other two but I don't think they have been pushing at all. I have pushed when I could but probably only once an orbit if I'm lucky. I felt this was a pretty clear push but when I'm messing around with SnGPT it's practically breakeven at best.

Anyone care to share their insight, push or fold and WHY?

Yuck.

I think I fold and hate it very much. Not so much because of SNGPT (I actually assumed it would say this is a push) but because the guy in the SB might complete or push against the big stack, which will see him either knocked out, or lose yet more stack. If we were ahead of only one stack here, I'd push. The fact we're ahead of two just gives more chance for "something" to go wrong with the others here, and that just swings it to a fold for me.

I still hate it though..

No way am I raising into a calling machine HUGE stack when he's BB and its 4-way.

If its another shortie that's BB, then I'd do it.

OK, I looked back in hand history and while he has been raising a lot- the only two hands he's called with have been AKo and KQs. There was a guy pushing a lot of hands that went out 5th, and the guy that went out 6th pushed a few times but jfish didn't get involved. I've pushed UTG with KK and he's folded his bb, I don't think his range is that huge.

Still, this is a very marginal hand- does anyone push or this still a fold?

Knowing this information makes it more into a push for me. I think folding into the money is out of the question, as all three of your are decently small shorties.

man. that is brutal.

here's the real tough thing though. i play the 11s too, and i will routinely see folks in the SB's position (i.e. ~4 BBs) not feel compelled to push. so who knows? if you push, maybe the SB folds figuring that he's got the next three hands out of the blinds. (yes i know that's terrible logic for SB but it happens lots).

the other key is that everyone except jfish is relatively short, and you will probably have to get your money into the pot before ITM... now seems as good a time as any.

would be curious about what SNGPT says?

SNGPT is marginal (from -0.2% to 0.2%) on almost every scenario except if everyone at the table was tight.

This is a clear push for the following criteria:

Full discount for next hand BB (instead of 50% discount).
SB,button call 88+,ATs+,AJo.
BB calls top 40%.

This gives it +0.7% EV. Plus pushing is fun.

Could you explain this discount stuff? I plugged in these numbers and it was a -1.2% push.

You think SB/Button are going to be that tight?

He means on the test version of SNGPT, the problem is it never seems to work properly for me, as it doesn't discount the ev fold the same as it does for ev no call

Go to equity modeling and slide both sliders all the way to the right.

Yes, with a very loose BB, they are expecting him to call you so they won't call without a big hand.

It's an attempt to make ICM factor in the position of the blinds. It's very important that you are posting first here, so I increased the fact that you post next.
