This is a promotion at Golden Palace that I became aware of through Pokersourceonline.
Bonuswhores makes no mention of it. Can anyone make an estimate of its hourly worth, or how many hours it would take 4 tabling 2/4 limit?
Im guessing around 150. You only have 60 days to do it so it doesnt sound that appetizing.

if their rake structure is the same as absolute it would clear at 4.22 hr at 2/4

you'd better post the link. I don't see anything in PSO forums and Golden Palace doesn't do bonuses using raked hands, only proportional contributed rake relative to pot size.

i dont understand why anyone would do a bonus that is worse than 10x, UNLESS you really like the site.

For bonus whoring 10x is really not that great, anything less isnt worth it IMO

I haven't whored in a while, but is it that easy to get $1500 from other sites as an alternative to this?

I don't know why you would do this. Clears at a very slow rate and at a site with horrible software. You would make more by hitting up $500 or so in bonuses in a month for about 3500 raked hands at a few different sites, and then playing at a juicy site with an under the table rakeback deal. (hmmm...) You would make more from poker but less from whoring.

I still don't understand why everyone hates Gaming Club's software. I kinda like it. Yeah, the mini view is death, but other than that it isn't bad at all.

The mini-view is one of my favorite parts of the Gaming Club's software.

For those wondering "why would you do a bonus worse than 10x??", well, a bonus is better than no bonus, and many bonuses worse than 10x are still better than rakeback. I've cleared $thousands doing >10x bonuses in the last few months.

unless you like the site you play you always have at least 10x at absolute, but i usually dont clear bonuses worse than 7x or 8x

Well, I guess it comes down to volume. If I could 8-table the game of my choice at absolute, you can guarantee I would play 30,000 hands a month there. They just don't have that much action or game selection.

As for what standards someone should have for bonuses, I guess it all depends on play volume. If you play 5k hands/month, then by all means stick to the 7x-8x raked bonuses. High volume players have to go for some slower (but larger) bonuses. I would take a $600 bonus that clears at 15x over a $100 bonus that clears at 7x given the choice.

Absolute is better than any other 10x bonus, because the bonus doesn't count against MGR, and its virtually bottomless.

Damn, why can't this be available for everyone. I'd play 20,000 hands for $1500 at TGC in a heartbeat.

As to the time extimate, 100-120 hours sounds about right to me.
