Crazy thing is that I would have taken it home with top 2 pair. Guy with 9/3 for two pair won the hand........I love Paradise

I have a 48 BB pot that I won, was at Party 1/2

I had the nut straight on the turn and the board paired on the river and I wussed out, otherwise I could have gotten at least 3+ more bets.

I'll try to find the link (I posted it)

48 BB Pot Win (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Number=3111786)

found it

SB's call on the river is brilliant

Come on, he is using BOTH of his hole cards.

i also like UTG+2 putting in 4 bets on the flop with q4 unimproved no pair no draw. Wow, if I was the AA guy I would explode with my simultaneous anger and glee.

It's only 2 more bets, he's good here 1 in 25 times.

I don't think I've got an online hand history to top this. I played a live hand of $2/$4 once that had to be close. I don't recall all the details, but I was the BB and had pocket aces. The betting was capped before it even got to the blinds and we went to the flop with 9 players (one guy managed to fold). I went to the river, of course I never improved and the schmuck that limped and called 3 bets cold UTG with K6o flopped two pair that held up. I don't remember enough of the post-flop action to determine how big our pot got, not that I got to stack those chips. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

i can't top this but i would like to say that i have won't a 30BB+ pot (at live 3/6) with 42h on a (A48)AT(no heart, 3 spades) board where all nine players saw the flop and it was capped preflop. it even made it to showdown, 33 bet and i called and i won.

it was a classic example of ed miller's advice to never fold when the pot is huge. QQ JJ and someone with the T of spades (had a T high flush draw) folded on the turn.

no that was a classic example of folding preflop, folding the flop, folding the turn, and finally folding the river

Dood it was live 3/6 LOLOMG!!11!

i know i played the hand horribly but the mistake i made was smaller than the mistakes made by the guy who had QQ.

EDIT: after thinking about it. i don't think i played the hand horribly at all. from an ev standpoint i made a -ev decision preflop but it wasn't all that horrible (any two suited preflop 9way isn't going to be THAT bad off, plus i can make two different straights) from then on i am pretty sure i only made correct decisions.

The biggest pot I've ever seen that wasn't a deliberate capping of all streets at a 2+2 game was a 72BB pot @ $2/4 where it was set vs set vs overpair vs 2 flush draws vs a straight draw or something insane like that.
