The table is absolutely ridiculous. The cash game just started up after a welcome reception with an open bar so everyone on the table is completely blitzed. There's this one crazy German dude who doesn't speak English. Somehow, he picked up the phrase "ship it". I don't think he understands what it means. When I first sat down on the table he extended his hand and said "ship it" in the voice you would use to say "what's up". Anyway, the two villains in this hand are the German guy, and a Swedish dude who fell asleep on the table earlier. Both are completely trashed. I have $3,500 and they cover.

I pick up A A on the cutoff. There are 5 limpers to me including the two villains. I make it $150. Blinds fold. Both villains call.

The flop comes K 9 8 . The Swedish guy leads out $300 and mumbles something. The German dude looks at him and goes "ship it" with a shocked look on his face because the Swedish guy is awake. It looks like the German guy is about to fold his hand but as he extends his hand to throw away his cards, he spills his drink all over his cards and the flop. The Swedish guy seems pissed but the German is cracking up with his cronies. Then, instead of folding, the German goes all-in. It's $3300 or so to me.

What's your play?

The question is on the last line, it asks 'What's your play?'

He'd like to know what you would do in his situation.

I despise when people type lol, cause 2+2 is almost never that funny, but this story is [censored] hilarious to me. I literally have tears in my eyes. And by the way, call, quickly.

Whitelime,

I haven't left yet, but I'll be joining you in St. Kitts for the Championship Event. My main question is - Does your post mean you have e-mail from the hotel room?

Sounds like a fun game. And I hope you called. How'd it turn out?

I'd appreciate it if you'd PM me when you get the chance - I'd love to hear from you and get a preview about what to expect when I get there. Good luck and have fun!

the swede is who i'd be worried about, and you give him an automatic decision if you call, so I am folding here.

Just curious.. why the heck wouldn't you make it at least $300-400 to go or something ridiculous like $1k? They ain't foldin.

Opening for $500 and saying "YOU AINT GOT THE BALLS" or alternatively "SHIP IT" in a german accent are the only acceptable preflop plays.

I was legitimately worried the Swede had a hand so I folded. The Swede turned over K9 and the German had 67. The German of course sucked out..."ship it". I took his money later so it's all good.

How did you get such a strong read on the swede when all he did was call a raise preflop and now lead?

Well, we have more than that to go by.

1) He was sleeping at the table at some point during this session, and now he is leading at a pot.
2) He was pissed off when the German guy spilled his drink all over everything. If you flop a big hand you're gonna be pissed when someone starts screwing with the flop.

Your post is like poetry. When playing on a computer, you don't pick up any of these things.
