View Full Version : 99 SH where am I?

CO is a pure fish who never raises (80/0).

BB (59/30/4) is a maniac, and I had fun watching him on the sidelines when I was not in a hand. He was playing any hand for a raise, but generally backed down when pushed back. Also a checkraise let you know when he had a decent hand (tho not a useful read in this hand).

SB (50/20/1.1) is a bit more mild, but playing lots of hands indeed.

These reads are after several hands (60+) as I watched my stack go from 30BB to 50BB to 15BB to 25BB.

Here is one where I felt lost. I have no immediate plans to fold this, but should I be still pushing at the turn? Any ideas?

You said he was a maniac so you should be ahead of a lot.

In maniacs head:
Flop: Sb got [censored]. GAMBOL!
Turn: Button has [censored]. GAMBOL!
River: GAMBOL!

looks good. If he's a rediculously retarded maniac, I might put in another bet on the turn.

Due to your read, overpair and position i think this is played fine.

I dont see where you can fold and if it so happens he has a 5 then so be it.

Any idea on his Preflop RAISING standards? (i know he didnt raise :P)
p.s. I considered and dont like raising turn - Can you fodl to a 3bet? Do you want to call down after a 3bet? if you was fit in a bet/call may be goot though.

I'm raising the turn. You're good most of the time. It's too early to go into call down mode HU against this guy.

Hm fair enough, throw a raise in on the turn if you feel daring... getting 3bet by 5 sucks but i reckon we're ahead to call down.
