I'm in the process of getting a DVD burner, and like most current models, it works with both DVD+R and -R. It seems like a pretty basic thing to Google but I keep running into websites telling me something like "DVD+R(W) discs will play in DVD+R(W) drives . . ." etc. My question is: Is there any real qualitative difference between the two if I can burn either type? They seem to be about the same in price, so maybe I'm making something of nothing. If not, I'd like to know what I should use (all I'll be doing is burning DVD movies).
