Joined an Absolute 3/6 6max game and played 5 hands. Tight agressive table 5-handed. BB might be the weakest there but still decent.

I open raise 78 UTG. Fold to the BB who calls

Flop 325r.
I bet he calls

Turn 9
I bet he calls

River 9
I bet and expect him to call with A-high and I can show my hand.

BB folded here but I showed my hand since that was the whole point. Needless to say I got endless action with TAGs turning to calling stations, even raising me with weaker holdings. Fantastic, but is it worth the risk?

The risk of what? 5BB? Seems like on select tables this would be a good move as most people associate loose preflop play with poor postflop skills. Do you immediately return to playing your standard game? How long can your fish image last when your stats are 22/15/3 after 20 hands?

that's a pretty aggro preflop play. jesus.

Are you asking specifically whether meta game considerations are worth it at Absolute 3/6? If so, I think the answer is yes. I've been playing a fair amount there recently and there really are a fair number of good players who I believe are paying attention.

I think it can last 20 hands or more since a lot of the players are quick to categorise you and MTT as well. It can't be a lot more I guess. The danger is when these opponents have a lot of hands on you so they won't be fooled that easily. But I'm still new at Absolute...

Yep that was my question. The hand itself was only an example, not worth of any critique.
