On the river, I think it's safe enough to fold here. I can't imagine the BB not having a hand here. Other streets I like, and I usually hate folding on the river, but this just screams a big hand from the BB. Maybe you could find a fold on the turn.....I dont know, I'm still new to SH.

definitely fold river second time around. think about folding the turn, and here you probably can since you know utg is a tag. what is his range after his flop raise given his pf action? you are probably dead.

I would fold preflop.

I would 3 bet the flop (I don't know what you mean by taggish, if UTG were a TAG he would not limp from UTG).

If "fishy" means passive I would fold the river given the way you played it.

he's a .5/1 tag. he's probably following a PF chart for a full game, which might say to limp hands like KJ in MP.

you don't think i should complete with K8o?

BB had a mediocre hand iirc, UTG.. well guess.

no.

in non-steal situations I would stick to full table guidelines for completing in the SB in these games.

easy easy easy complete preflop. I give it up on the turn or call one on the river, but never two.

Both UTG and MP are limping better K's here, IMO. Also, A8 is a possiblity. Not to mention the pot is going to be 4-way. This complete is close not easy.

how can this complete be easy easy easy?

is K5o close? What about Q7o?

Not saying I'm correct, but this is a clear fold for me.

a pair of 5s is far far more vulnerable than a pair of 8s. Domination is much less of an issue in shorthanded than it is in full ring. K5o I complete sometimes, not often. Q7o I complete most of the time as well.
